Apartment in a historic villa of 250 sqm + 350 sqm garden

In the south west area of Florence, on the hills that separate the lower Valdarno from the city, the fraction of Grassina, in the quiet of the Tuscan countryside characterized by olive groves and vineyards, which with their fruits give products famous all over the world . On a gentle hill we offer an apartment on the ground floor of a historic Villa from 1573. This villa was part of the historic Monte Acuto Castle complex.
In ancient times the hills that dominate the Arno valley on the left bank of its course were crowned with castles and towers and constituted a fortification line for Florence against enemy attacks. Many of these dwellings have passed over the years to wealthy Fiornetine families who transformed them into country villas after the 15th century.
The dominant position of this villa offers a magnificent panorama of Grassina and Chianti.

The apartment of 250 square meters is located on the ground floor of a villa divided into three residential units with condominium park and swimming pool.
To access the apartment there are 4 entrances, one of which from the entrance hall to a common with the other apartments on the upper floors.
From this entrance you enter the large living room with original Florentine frescoes of 1700 of great impact of 50 square meters, with heights of about 5 meters. This room is accessed via a staircase to the cellars, also of 50 square meters.
